Just GO.

Sometimes you just need someone to tell you to GO.

GO do the things you need.
GO do the things you want.
(Sometimes they are the same thing!)

DON'T BE CONTAINED.

I was just reminded of this yesterday. I want to get away. I need to get away! So, I'm going to do it. Going big. (More to come on that when more solid plans are set...)

Yosemite National Park, October 2013
Last weekend, I escaped to Yosemite with some of my closest friends. A month ago, when I decided that this trip was happening, I didn't stop myself to think of the possible things I would maybe have to do the same weekend. I said, "I'm going. I'm doing it. No matter what." Not even the government stopped us! I mean... We were only on private property, don't worry Mr. President. Back to my point: Instead of always holding yourself responsible to others, every once in a while, hold yourself responsible to YOU. Sometimes we need little reminders. I forget!! A LOT!!

I don't mean all this in a selfish kind of way. Not at all. Selfishness is THE WORST! Ugh! I mean all of this in a take care of yourself kind of way.

The most exhilarating, therapeutic, and memorable moments of my life are times when I have just said, "I'm doing it," "I'm going," and followed through. We're just too hesitant sometimes. I'm tired of that. I want to be open to just going for it. All the time. And to have it truly be a reality!

If you're at that place where you just need confirmation from someone else (I was), here it is:
     DO IT!
         GO FOR IT!
JUMP! (Into the world and new experiences. Not off of anything. Unless it's out of a plane... with a parachute. Or off a bridge... with a bungee!! Or into water from a reasonable height.)
